HEADTEACHER – L22 – L24What inspired you to become a headteacher? This is a question we will be asking as part of our interview process for the role of Headteacher for this SEND school.What is your “why”? Interested to know why working in a SEND school is for you and what motivates you to have an impact?We are looking for a Headteacher for Special Education Needs School growing in numbers and committed to the outcomes of the children it supports.We need a Headteacher or aspiring Deputy Headteacher who knows exactly "what" and "why" to join this school in January or before if your contract permits.Used to working within a SEND or SEMH setting.With strong leadership skills and experience developing a team.Happy working to a strategic plan with clear guidelines for growth.Able to develop relationships across whole of school to include staff and students.Used to working with key external stakeholders.Capable of leading from the front and demonstrating your capacity to underpin school culture and vision.You will be able understand why the vision, values, plans for the school are so important to the forward plan to include your personal development.Show capacity to work both as part of a team and show management and leadership skills in equal measure.A great communicator, able to use your skills to talk to a child to understand their needs right through to working at SLT level.Use to working to targets that influence the outcomes for the children you support.Have high standards and expectations for yourself and your team.Understanding to the key factors that influence a school operationally to include budgets, funding, and facilities which are all well supported.Happy to support recruitment of new staff and continue to develop their potential.In return you will enjoy: -Pay scale L22 – L24Scope for further salary enhancement as the school grows.Exceptional support from the executive leadership team.Opportunity for personal development and growth.Working in a holistic school setting that is complete fit for purpose and allows children to develop at their pace and make real progress, which is rewarding.Support and investment in your school for continued growth.
