Ensure children are central to assessments and planning. Amplify the voice of the child or young person in decision-making. Uphold and advocate for children’s rights and responsibilities. Operates under the Family Safeguarding Model. QAROs ensure the best care is provided when children need to be looked after. Emphasis on relationship-building, effective participation, and strengths-based approaches. Positive progress in strategic joint working, especially between Children’s Services and Housing. Children’s Commissioning Team is addressing service gaps and expanding accommodation options. Acknowledgement that while progress is strong, continued improvement is needed.
