The working hours are primarily double days with some flexibility to work the night shift when required.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operational performance.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic tools.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan.Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems and machinery as required.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.Collaborate with production teams to minimise disruption and optimise equipment availability.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and safety standards.Required Skills & QualificationsElectrical engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong electrical fault-finding skills and knowledge of PLC systems, inverters, and control panels.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.Flexibility to work shifts as required to support 24/7 operations.Call to ActionIf you are a motivated electrically biased maintenance professional seeking a rewarding opportunity within a reputable organisation, we want to hear from you Apply today to join a company that values your expertise and offers excellent career development prospects.null
