SEN Teacher – Full Time – Primary or SecondaryAre you an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher looking for a deeply rewarding role within a supportive specialist setting? You will plan and deliver personalised, well-structured lessons, work closely with Learning Support Assistants, contribute to multi-disciplinary discussions, and ensure every pupil feels safe, supported, and valued. This role is ideal for an SEN Teacher who is committed to adapting practice, building positive relationships, and promoting progress for pupils with diverse needs.Job Role:Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ individual strengths and needsMonitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress, feeding into EHCP targets and personalised learning plansCreating a safe, consistent, and nurturing classroom environment where pupils can thriveLeading and guiding Learning Support Assistants within the classroomContributing to multidisciplinary meetings and working with external professionalsPreparing reports, contributing to reviews, and maintaining accurate recordsManaging behaviour effectively and promoting emotional regulation and positive routinesSupporting pupils through personalised behaviour plans, risk assessments, and pupil profilesTaking part in whole-school activities, meetings, training, and professional developmentWorking collaboratively with the SENCO, senior leaders, and pastoral staff to ensure coordinated supportThe ideal candidate will have:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience working with pupils with SEND (Autism, SEMH, MLD, or complex needs)Strong communication, organisational, and classroom-management skillsA commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and child-centred educationThe ability to adapt teaching for different learning styles and developmental needsA warm, resilient, and flexible approach when supporting vulnerable learnersIn return, you will enjoy:Support from an experienced and committed senior leadership teamSmall class sizes and strong LSA supportAccess to excellent training, CPD, and reflective practiceA caring school community that values teamwork and pupil wellbeingThe opportunity to make a measurable, positive impact every dayIf you are interested in this SEN Teacher opportunity, please “Apply Now” or contact The Education Network Birmingham.
