Are you an experienced primary school Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking a new and exciting opportunity for immediate start in Bristol (BS11) Do you hold the HLTA qualification or have a similar qualification? Perhaps you don’t hold the HLTA qualification but experienced in working as a HLTA? Would you like the opportunity to work in a mainstream primary school, to utilise your skills and experience in assisting the progress of students? * Start ASAP * £95 - £125 per day, depending on experience * Full-time, Monday - Friday 8.30am to 4pm * Term time only * Bristol – BS11 About the HLTA role * Lead and cover lessons from Reception to Year 6 * Production of lesson plans and resources to support groups/ classes of children. * Working effectively with individual pupils, small groups and whole classes. Providing support for learning and social and emotional development of children. * Record progress and achievement in lessons and activities, to provide constructive feedback on pupil progress/achievement etc. * Acting as a role model, promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom * Encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others What we need from you * Maths and English GCSE grade A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent * Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification * Experience of working with young people, particularly those with ASD diagnosis * Confident to converse with parents, students and members of the public * Good ICT skills
