Job description Location: Bexley Contract Type: Temporary (with potential to go permanent) Start Date: ASAP End Date: 18th July 2025 (with possibility to extend) Pay: GBP220 – GBP260 per day, depending on experience Are you an experienced Year 6 Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are thrilled to partner with a fantastic primary school located in Bexley, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team immediately. This role is initially temporary, running up until 18th July 2025, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. About the Role: As the Year 6 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with an enthusiastic class of students, preparing them for their transition to secondary school. Your responsibilities will include: · Planning and delivering engaging lessons across all subject areas. · Preparing Year 6 students for their SATs exams and supporting their academic development. · Differentiating lessons to meet the individual needs of students. · Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. · Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for all students. What We Are Looking For: · Proven experience teaching in Year 6 or a similar age group. · A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and SATs requirements. · Ability to create an engaging and dynamic classroom environment. · Excellent communication and classroom management skills. · A commitment to the development of all students, helping them achieve their full potential.
