Risk and Compliance Manager – Multi-Office Law Firm Location: Hybrid (with travel to regional offices as required) Salary: Competitive + Benefits Are you an experienced Risk and Compliance professional ready to take the lead in shaping best practice across a growing, multi-office law firm? Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking firm, is seeking a dynamic Risk and Compliance Manager to oversee and develop the firm’s compliance framework, ensuring continued excellence in regulatory governance and client care. The Role: As the firm’s Risk and Compliance Manager, you will be a key figure in ensuring compliance with the SRA Standards and Regulations, and in fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability. Your responsibilities will include: Managing all aspects of regulatory compliance, including AML, GDPR, conflicts of interest, and file audits. Providing expert advice and guidance to Partners and fee earners on compliance and risk issues. Overseeing and enhancing the firm’s risk management policies, procedures, and training programmes. Acting as the firm’s point of contact for the SRA, ICO, and other regulatory bodies. Supporting internal projects and initiatives to strengthen quality assurance and governance. About You: You will be an accomplished compliance professional with a solid understanding of SRA regulations and law firm risk management. You’ll combine strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence at Partner level. Essential skills and experience: Previous experience in a Risk and Compliance role within a law firm. In-depth knowledge of SRA, AML, GDPR, and data protection requirements.
