Physiotherapist (Band 7) - Rhyl, Wales Job Title: Physiotherapist - CMATS Spinal Locum Location: Glan Clwyd Hospital, Rhyl, Denbighshire, LL18 5UJ Band : Band 7 Contract Type: Locum Salary: £23 - £29 per hour We are seeking an experienced Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Clinical Musculoskeletal Assessment and Treatment Service (CMATS), focusing on spinal conditions. This is a locum position for a Band 7 clinician who will manage highly complex patients presenting with both acute and routine spinal issues. Key Responsibilities: Assess and treat patients with complex spinal conditions.Provide expert clinical input within a multidisciplinary team.Support service delivery and maintain high standards of care. Essential Qualifications: We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist with: Physiotherapy degree (or equivalent qualification) . HCPC Registration . Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience . Minimum of 6 months UK NHS healthcare settings experience . Enhanced DBS clearance required . Full UK right to work. Key Requirements:Strong MSK experience, particularly with complex spinal cases.Proven background in CMATS, Primary Care, or First Contact Practitioner roles.Completed NMR training (essential) - enabling referral for X-rays and MRI scans.Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality patient care.
