Senior Quantity Surveyor Recruitment Solutions are seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our clients established consultancy team in Oxford. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cost management and contract administration services across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, residential, education, and public sector schemes. This position offers the opportunity to work with prestigious clients, mentor junior staff, and progress towards Associate/Director level within the practice. Job summary 40 hours per week Permanent role 80000 About the role Competitive salary: £55,000 – £80,000, depending on experience. -Car allowance, pension scheme, and private healthcare. -Hybrid/flexible working arrangements. -Paid professional fees and CPD support. -Clear career progression to Associate/Director level. -Exposure to prestigious projects in Oxfordshire and beyond. Roles/Responsibilities  -Lead the delivery of pre- and post-contract cost management services. -Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, cost planning, and value engineering. -Manage procurement, tendering, and contract administration (JCT/NEC). -Undertake risk management, financial reporting, and final accounts. -Provide strategic cost advice to clients and stakeholders. -Mentor and support junior surveyors and APC candidates. -Develop and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business growth. About you -MRICS qualification is essential (Chartered Quantity Surveyor). -Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment. -Strong knowledge of construction contracts, particularly JCT and NEC. -Proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills. -Ability to lead teams and manage workloads effectively. -Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
