The process engineer is responsible for supporting, developing, and implementing assembly manufacturing processes in order to continually improve quality performance.Supervisory Responsibilities:Duties/Responsibilities:- Addresses manufacturability concerns without disrupting customers- development schedules. Reviews, critiques new job releases.- Reviews, captures and communicates DFM issues to the customer and provides recommendations.- Works with documentation to create build and visual aid package.- Works with documentation to interpret engineering change orders.- Works with process engineering to ensure the introduction of product into manufacturing.- Works with manufacturing to determine in process DFM issues and feeds back to the customer.- Maintains current knowledge of applicable external standards. Acts as subject matter expert when representing company in cross functional client meetings.- Continually mindful clients¿ expectations are met in a timely and efficient manner.- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of production related processes & manufacturing equipment while repeatedly manufacturing complex products.- Maintain ESD controls- Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Education and Experience:- Bachelor¿s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.- At least seven years related experience required.- Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in 22 CFR .62 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status).Physical Requirements:- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
