Job Title: Civil Design Engineer Key Responsibilities:Develop civil design solutions for water and wastewater networks, pumping stations, treatment works, and associated infrastructure. Prepare drawings, models, specifications, and design documentation using CAD/BIM tools. Carry out engineering calculations, hydraulic assessments, and feasibility studies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, and electrical engineers. Ensure designs meet health, safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements. Provide technical input during project delivery and support site teams when required. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project outcomes. Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline). Chartered or working towards professional status (ICE or equivalent). Experience in the UK water sector (clean water, wastewater, or drainage). Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar). Strong understanding of UK water industry standards and regulations. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Location: Newcastle, Leeds, or Brighton (office or hybrid, with site visits as required).
