This role offers the chance to take ownership of asset data collection and project delivery, contribute to long-term investment planning, and enjoy a stable career with ongoing professional development opportunities.I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Building, Project, Stock Condition, or Asset Management Surveyor in housing, maintenance, or construction.As an Assets Surveyor, you will be:Leading and managing multiple investment projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, budget control, and customer satisfactionUndertaking comprehensive surveys of the property assets, collecting data to inform long-term investment and maintenance plansCarrying out inspections of materials, workmanship, and communal areas to ensure compliance with specifications, contracts, and health & safety legislationPreparing detailed specifications, schedules of works, and tender documentation in line with procurement policyConducting building surveys to assess structural defects, fire damage, and disrepair, providing recommendations and costed repair schedulesEnsuring compliance with relevant statutory approvals and regulations, including CDM 2015, Building Regulations, and Planning requirementsIdentifying and recording health, safety, and welfare concerns within properties and signposting residents to appropriate internal teamsI'd love to speak to anyone who has:A qualification in a building or construction-related disciplineExperience managing major works or planned maintenance programmes, including procurement and contract managementKnowlwege of HHSRSSound knowledge of building pathology, housing disrepair, and asset management principlesExperience diagnosing defects such as damp and mould and specifying appropriate repairsA full UK driving licence The Assets Surveyor role is offering the following benefits:Up to 8% matched pension contribution26 days annual leave + bank holidays (with the option to buy more)Life cover and access to a company vehicle and fuel cardSupportive team culture with genuine career progression opportunitiesThe chance to make a meaningful difference to homes and communities across the regionThe role is offering a competitive salary of 40-45k annually Location & travelThis role is based in the West Midlands, offering a central location with excellent transport links.
