With excellent transport links including direct rail services to Leeds, Hull, and Doncaster, and easy access to the A63, Anlaby and its charming surrounding villages provides a relaxed pace with plenty to do. Anlaby's family friendly communities, local cafes and scenic walks offers a great quality of life, plus a short drive from the Yorkshire Wolds and the coast.The East Riding of Yorkshire is a beautiful area to travel around; we cover a large area stretching from the York Border across the Northern aspect of the county where there are many rural and isolated locations.We are a well established team with one manager, and a great deal of experience and knowledge, along with colleagues at the beginning of their social work career pathway, eager to learn and develop good practice.What we are looking for:Good decision making skills and a clear understanding of the statutory duties and responsibilities in relation to social work with children and families.Experienced in statutory childcare work, including interventions with children, young people and their families under Child in Need Plans, Child Protection Plans, Family Law Legal Proceedings such as Public Law Care Proceedings, Private Law Proceedings and Adoption.A strong ability to build effective working relationships with children, parents, carers, and others within a childs network, grounded in empathy and compassion.A confident communicator, able to build rapport and deliver clear information.A commitment to ensuring timely and appropriate support for children and families.Excellent partnership working, supporting colleagues as part of a team, and the ability to use your initiative.Experience working across organisational boundaries to improve outcomes.The ability to work with competing demands and meet deadlines.Our Practice Model - Stronger Together''You can, I can, We can''Our bespoke practice model, Stronger Together, is rooted in our values and commitment to building strong, collaborative relationships with children, families, and communities.
