We are recruiting on behalf of an international financial institution operating in the UK, who are seeking a Senior ODI ETL & OAS/OBIEE BI Banking Data Developer to join their team on a 2-year fixed-term contract.London based.RoleThe Senior ODI ETL & OAS/OBIEE BI Banking Data Developer will play a key role in the design, development, and ongoing management of data warehousing solutions, advanced analytics, and data integration processes across core banking and financial systems.Key responsibilities include:Data Warehouse ManagementDesign, implement, and manage data warehouse schemas and data marts to store and organise high-volume banking and financial datasets.Implement data models and schemas to support efficient data retrieval and analysis.Perform regular maintenance, enhancements, and updates to ensure smooth operation of warehouse services.Data ManagementManage, optimise, and maintain data for efficient storage and retrieval.Write complex SQL and PL/SQL queries to manipulate, transform, and analyse data.Data IntegrationIntegrate data from multiple internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow, consistency, and quality.Collaborate closely with IT and business teams to understand data needs and deliver effective integration solutions.ETL Development & MaintenanceDesign, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle.Optimise workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.Business Intelligence DevelopmentDevelop and maintain business intelligence solutions using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS/OBIEE).Build interactive dashboards, reports, extracts, and visualisations to support banking and finance decision-making.Perform data analysis and present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Retail Banking & Accounting KnowledgeApply understanding of retail banking, treasury products, and accounting to interpret data requirements accurately.Ensure compliance with industry standards and financial regulations.ProfileDomain ExpertiseStrong understanding of core banking systems such as Flexcube, Oracle ERP, and associated data structures and interfaces.Experience working with retail banking, treasury products, and accounting datasets.Technical Skills5+ years of hands-on industry experience with Oracle databases and data warehousing design principles.Proficient in ODI ETL, OAS/OBIEE, PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle Forms.Experience with ER modelling and data modelling tools.Proven ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into robust technical solutions.Analytical SkillsAbility to analyse complex data sets and derive actionable insights.Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve data-related issues efficiently.Professional SkillsExcellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams.Ability to collaborate across cross-functional departments including finance, IT, and operations.Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.CompanyA long-established, international financial institution with a strong presence in the UK market.Hybrid working environment, London based.Salary & BenefitsThe salary range/rates of pay are dependent upon your experience, qualifications, and training.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
