We offer competitive pay rates and a supportive environment where you can thrive Position: Anaesthetic and Scrub Nurses Location: Chesterfield Pay Rates: £18 – £31 per hour, depending on experience Key Responsibilities: Anaesthetic Nurses: Assist anaesthetists in administering and monitoring anaesthesia.Prepare and manage anaesthetic equipment and medications.Monitor patient responses and make necessary adjustments to anaesthesia levels. Scrub Nurses: Prepare and maintain the sterile field throughout surgical procedures.Provide necessary instruments and supplies to the surgical team.Ensure all equipment is sterilised and ready for use, adhering to infection control protocols. Requirements: Relevant nursing qualifications and valid NMC registration. Minimum of 6 months recent experience in theatre settings (scrub and anaesthetics roles). Proven experience in anaesthesia or scrub roles within a clinical or hospital setting. Comprehensive understanding of surgical procedures and anaesthetic techniques. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment. Right to work within the UK – proof will be required. Why Pulse Nursing?
