Job description Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Secondary School📍 Location: Cheshunt, Hertfordshire 📅 Contract: Full-time 💰 Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? Do you have the skills and dedication to support students with their learning and development? We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly and inclusive secondary school in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and patient individual to work closely with teachers and students, providing essential support to help every child reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Support students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), in the classroom and during activities. Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning interventions. Encourage students’ confidence, independence, and engagement with their education. Assist with behaviour management and create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Provide one-to-one and small group support as needed. What We’re Looking For: ✅ A passion for education and supporting young people. ✅ Experience working with children or young adults (experience in SEN is desirable but not essential). ✅ Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. ✅ A team player who can work collaboratively with staff and students. ✅ GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; further qualifications in education or childcare are an advantage.
