Connect new sites and customers to our network, ensuring efficient testing and configuration of connectivity solutions Maintain accurate documentation and configuration data, ensuring up-to-date records of network infrastructure Proactively monitor the network to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate, collaborating with relevant teams for swift resolution Provide technical updates on incidents and contribute to ongoing communication within the service desk team and senior management Take ownership of departmental projects, demonstrating initiative and driving successful outcomes Proven experience in an ISP or large enterprise environment, showcasing expertise in routing and switching Strong problem-solving skills to address complex network and security challenges across multiple functions In-depth troubleshooting knowledge at the LAN and WAN levels, with the ability to document technical issues effectively Proficiency in multiple network technologies, including IP, Ethernet, Switching, QinQ, VPLS, VPN, MPLS, and firewall security practices Experience with Arista, Cisco, or Mikrotik equipment, ideally holding a CCIE or equivalent qualification A valid driving license Up to £35000 basic salary Laptop and phone 25 days annual leave, plus paid bank holidays Up to 7% pension contribution 4 times salary life insurance cover Employee incentive scheme Employee referral scheme Perks at work scheme
