Manufacturing and Testing Assistant Location: Birmingham Hours: 8:00-16:30, Monday-Friday Pay Rate: £12.65 per hourJoin our team to help manufacture and test medical devices. You will follow established procedures, maintain equipment, complete documentation, and ensure high-quality production. This role also supports other departments as needed to help meet delivery and quality targets.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the manufacturing and testing of medical devicesMaintain, clean, and calibrate equipmentAccurately complete production records, worksheets, and documentationUse the ERP system for tracking work and accessing documentsReport progress, issues, and delays to the supervisorWork collaboratively with the team and help plan daily tasksFollow all health, safety, and quality proceduresEnsure work meets regulatory and company standardsPerform additional duties as requiredWhat You Need Essential:GCSEs in Maths, English, and ScienceBasic computer skillsAbility to work well in a teamGood communication and time managementDesirable:A Levels or a science-related degreeLab, production, or GMP experienceKnowledge of health & safety processesPersonal QualitiesFriendly, reliable, organisedGood timekeepingWilling to learn and help where neededFlexible to do occasional overtimeWork EnvironmentOnsite lab/cleanroomPPE provided (lab coat, gloves, etc.)Long hair must be tied upStandard background check required
