Accounts Senior – Yeovil

Location: Yeovil

Salary: £26,000 - £34,000

Numero Recruitment are currently working with one of the South West's largest Accountancy practice firms in assisting them to recruit an accounts Senior in their Yeovil office. The firm sits within the UK's Top 50 Practice firms and has over 300 staff across it's offices. They have been voted as one of the UK's best firms to work for and can offer the successful applicant a structured career path and future promotion into a management role.

The key focus of the role is to prepare accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships whilst also completing Tax and VAT returns. As a senior member of the team, you will be required to lead on small to medium sized assignments whilst assisting on larger assignments and undertaking one-off assignments when required.

Requirements:

Working in a similar practice environment is essential. AAT or P/Q ACA/ACCA – further training is on offer Good IT skills with working knowledge of Sage Good verbal and written communication Good understanding of tax
