Whether you're looking to grow your expertise or take the next step in your career, our client offers the environment and resources to help you succeed.Your new role As a Personal Tax Senior, you’ll play a key role in supporting the partners and tax team in managing a portfolio of personal tax clients. You’ll be responsible for:Preparing self-assessment tax returns andputations for a wide variety of clientsManaging filing deadlines and supporting clients with queriesMaintaining excellent client relationships and acting as a regular point of contactAssisting with ad hoc advisory work, HMRC enquiries, and disclosuresSupporting the transition to Making Tax Digital for sole traders and landlordsPromoting the firm’s services and identifying opportunities to introduce new clientsMentoring junior team members and contributing to their developmentYou’ll work closely with partners and colleagues, contributing to the delivery of high-quality tax planning andpliance services.What you'll need to succeed At least 3 years’ experience in a personal tax role within a firm of Chartered AccountantsATT, ACCA/ACA part-qualified/qualified, or QBE with relevant experienceStrong technical knowledge of personal taxationExcellent time management, planning, and organisational skillsStrongmunication skills and confidence in client-facing situationsAbility to supervise and coach junior team membersA proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple tasksFamiliarity with IRIS Practice Suite or CCH (preferred but not essential)Awareness of Making Tax Digital and its implications for clientsWhat you'll get in return Hybrid working: Flexible hours and the ability to work from homeFull-time or part-time options availableDeath in service coverTraining opportunities and full study support for further qualificationsA collaborative team culture and clear path for career progression
