Pulse AHP’s Speech and Language Therapy Team is currently recruiting an experienced Band 6/7 Pediatric Special School Speech and Language Therapist to join the team for a full-time/part-time role based in the North London area. These roles will be in the North London area providing Speech and Language therapy services. To be successful in this role you MUST have at least 1 years’ experience working exclusively with a population. Position : Band 6/7 Pediatric Special School Speech and Language Therapist Location : North London Hours : Full-time/Part-time Duration : Ongoing Essential skills: Recent Band 6/7 Pediatric Special School Speech and Language Therapist experience of at least 12 months Proof of competency As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our students’ communication needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication problems. Your expertise will contribute to our students’ ability to engage fully with their education and social interactions. This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £34 per hour. Main responsibilities of this Speech and Language Therapy vacancy: Assess and support children with a wide range of communication difficulties. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the child’s educational goals. Provide training and advice to school staff and families on how to support the children’s speech and language development. Monitor and document students’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Essential requirements of this Speech and Language Therapy vacancy: A recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy. Registration with the relevant Health Professions Council. Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
