Support Worker - Rolling Contract - 25 Hours Per Week - £16-£18/hr (Umbrella)Join a well-established Housing Association in a fulfilling role that truly makes a difference to people's lives. This Support Worker position offers the chance to support vulnerable customers across a supported housing setting in Middlesbrough, helping them to build independence, improve wellbeing, and live safely in a secure and welcoming environment. The role operates on a rolling contract, providing consistent and stable work at £16-£18 per hour via umbrella, working 25 hours per week.As a Support Worker, you'll be delivering person-centred support, working closely with individuals to develop tailored support plans, promote safety, and empower them to take positive steps forward. You'll provide both one-to-one and group support while ensuring the service remains safe, compliant, and customer-focused.We'd love to hear from anyone with experience as a Support Worker, Support Service Worker, Housing Support Officer, Tenancy Support Officer, or anyone who has supported vulnerable people within housing, social care, or community environments.As a Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:Delivering daily support and creating a safe, secure environment for customersDeveloping support plans around housing, benefits, safety, budgeting, and wellbeingEncouraging independence and confidence through one-to-one sessions and group activitiesManaging safeguarding concerns and completing risk assessmentsWorking independently within a lone-working setting while contributing to the wider teamWe're interested in anyone who has:Experience supporting vulnerable client groupsA good understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and support planningStrong communication skills and a person-centred approachGood IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate recordsKey requirements:Basic DBSShift Pattern:This role includes sleepover-style shifts working:Day 1: 11am-11pmDay 2: 8am-12pmShift dates needed before Christmas: 12th-13th, 15th-16th, and 24th-25thWe are open to candidates who can cover some or all of these dates.This role is based in Middlesbrough and is easily accessible by major public transport routes, including local bus links and key road networks. It is suitable for candidates travelling from Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar, Hartlepool, Darlington, Thornaby, Billingham, and Guisborough.
