Your New Role:We are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Biller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in legal billing, time entry, audits, and managingplex billing arrangements. You will oversee the full billing cycle, ensuring invoices are generated accurately and on time, while supporting both internal teams and clients with billing queries and issues. Experience with E-Billing and Aderant is an advantage. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will be based three days per week in the firm’s modern, recently refurbished City of London office.Your Responsibilities:Oversee the preparation and review of client invoices, ensuring accuracy in timekeeping, rates, disbursements, andpliance with client billing guidelines and fee arrangementsAct as the main point of contact for client billing enquiries, adjustments, and disputes; provide clear explanations and resolve issues promptly and professionallyMentor junior billing staff, assist with onboarding and training new team members, and share best practices to drive efficiency. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirableWhat you'll need to succeed:At least 5 years of legal billing experience, ideally within a law firm environmentProficiency in billing software such as Aderant is desirable but not essentialStrong understanding of legal billing processes, industry standards, and client-specific requirements.
