Job description Job Title: Behaviour & Emotional Support MentorLocation: HounslowContract Type: Flexible | Part-TimeStart Date: ASAPPay Rate: £25-£30 per hourThis is more than just a mentoring role – it’s about forming a trusting relationship, meeting the student where they are, and helping them re-engage with their learning and life goals. You’ll play a crucial part in supporting their personal development, acting as a positive and consistent role model. Key Responsibilities: Build a strong, empathetic connection with students to encourage trust and openness. Deliver individual mentoring sessions to help students understand and regulate their emotions. Provide guidance on managing behaviour, avoiding negative influences, and building positive coping strategies. Work collaboratively with parents, carers, teachers, and professionals to develop and maintain a structured, supportive plan tailored to the student’s needs. Foster a safe, calm, and non-judgemental space where students feel seen and heard. Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience working one-to-one with children or young people experiencing behavioural or mental health difficulties. Right to work in the UK. Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
