Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.What You'll Do:As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be an integral part of our team, delivering high-quality service to customers while maintaining safety and efficiency.Safely operating the delivery vehicle and ensuring it meets all VOSA regulationsConducting thorough vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and complianceDelivering a variety of kitchen unitsManaging multidrop deliveries, with varying stops each dayInteracting directly with customers, offering a professional, friendly, and positive experience Using a handheld scanner and completing necessary paperwork accuratelyWhat We Need from You:Class 1 (HGV 1) Licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph CardA clean driving record with no more than six penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsementsMultidrop delivery experienceExcellent knowledge of the UK road networkA positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.Benefits:Competitive Pay: £15.14 per hour for Days and £17.24 per hour for nightsOvertime is paid at 1.5 rate after 50 hoursOvernight rate is £2528 Days Paid Holiday (Pro Rata)Exclusive Discounts: Access to Manpower Rewards (including discounts on adventure days, shopping, and more)Upskilling Opportunities: Access to our My Path programme to help you advance your careerWant to go perm; here's a few benefits: Salary of £41,15820 days per year plus 8 statutory bank holidays.
