Job description Role: DevOps Technical Business Analyst Location: Hybrid (60% office, 40% remote) – Sheffield Duration: 30/10/2026 Day Rate: £289 Inside IR35 Role Overview: We are seeing an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a portfolio of projects by assisting DevOps teams with analysis, planning, data extraction, application builds, testing, migration, and post-live support. The role requires a Technical BA with strong DevOps experience and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Nexus/Sonatype, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Ansible), and monitoring/logging tools. Key Skills & Experience: 5+ years’ experience in software delivery within banking, finance, or fintech. Independent, proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and a “can-do” attitude. Strong problem-solving skills, capable of identifying root causes, troubleshooting, and developing effective solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication, able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders. Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements. Skilled in process mapping, analysis, and identifying opportunities for automation and optimization within a DevOps environment. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and familiar with database concepts for querying and data analysis. Experience with M&A, integrations, or divestitures is a plus. Additional language skills, knowledge of IT controls, and large matrix organisation experience are advantageous.
