We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (Band 7) to join our esteemed client base in the vibrant city of Fleet. Location: Fleet, Hampshire Duration: Initial period of 1 month, to start Immediately Hours: Full time (40) hours per week Pay: Competitive, discussed upon application  Key Responsibilities: Undertake the Occupational Therapy assessment and implementation of therapy interventions of clients with complex physical disabilities as an autonomous practitioner. This includes using analytical, clinical reasoning skills and appropriate outcome measures. Carry out high level clinical decision making within agreed response times, to support A&E four hour targets. Analyse and clinically reason the risk assessment required for the physical moving and handling of complex, dependent patients to further their rehabilitation and the socio-environmental risks associated with rapid discharge home. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist. Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist within mental health settings. Sound knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
