Job description Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a full-time Teacher of Religious Education to join a supportive and welcoming secondary school in Manchester, starting January 2026, on a long-term/temp to perm basis, until at least the end of the summer term. Teacher of Religious Education- Manchester Pay: £ 168- £260 per day (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time, Long-term, temp to perm. Start: 5th January 2026 We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school community in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a well-resourced, forward-thinking environment. As a Teacher of History, you will play a key role in inspiring and engaging pupils through creative and inclusive teaching. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress and well-being Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential Contribute to school life through involvement in extracurricular activities and initiatives The ideal Teacher of Religious Education will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with placement experience Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and child development Be confident in behaviour management and classroom organisation Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills to the role Have a commitment to raising achievement and supporting the wider school community Why apply for this Teacher of Religious Education role in Manchester?
