Class 1 HGV Driver – Beeston, SandyNewstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver in Beeston, Sandy, to join a busy and respected timber distribution team. This is a full-time opportunity offering stability, training, and a supportive working environment—ideal for a confident, professional driver looking to build a long-term position in the timber industry. To ensure your application is reviewed, please apply directly through our official website at: Key Responsibilities Deliver timber products safely and efficiently to trade sites with time-critical schedules. Secure loads using straps, edge protectors, and industry-standard safety methods. Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, representing the company in a positive light. Conduct daily vehicle checks, complete accurate paperwork, and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Carry out manual handling when required (training provided). Essential Skills & Experience Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence. CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card. Confident handling of strapped or irregular loads. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. Experience delivering timber, flatbed loads, or construction materials preferred but not essential. Why Join?
