Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisor

Job Description New Directions are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis across Welsh medium secondary schools across Conwy. The ability to speak Welsh fluently is essential for this role. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning by supervising classes during teacher absences. You’ll ensure a positive learning environment and help maintain continuity in the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, experienced educators, or anyone with a strong interest in working with young people in a Welsh language environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-set work to classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Support students in following lesson plans and completing tasks. Report back to teaching staff on student progress and classroom incidents.
