A Tax Manager is required with a leading Accountancy firm in Norwich. You will be a key player in the tax team, providing expert tax advice and assistance to our clients.You will manage and supervise staff, ensuring that the firm's high standards of service are maintained. Your role will involve assisting with various projects ensuringpliance with tax laws and regulations, and developing new strategies to optimise your client's tax position.Job requirementsCTA Qualified or equivalent experience of working in a tax environmentPractical experience with OMB tax issues to include ie tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax and inheritance taxCan use quick and clear thought to identify multiple solutionsDemonstrate a “can do” approach to problem solvingExcellent client service andmunication skills including the ability to tailor your approach provided depending on the specific clientJob responsibilities Present solutions toplex technical issues. Develop solutions in your service areaUnderstand the firms’ products and services. Participate in cross-selling and business development activitiesBuild rapport with clients. Meet their demands and provide creative tax solutionsPlan and perform tax consultancy assignments. Prepare and file requests while acting as first point of contact for all queriesAdhere to risk management processes. Ensurepliance with internal proceduresEnsure timely billing.
