Corporate Tax SeniorTop 25 firm in WokingAbout Our ClientOur client is a well-established, top 25 accountancy firm with a foot print across the UKJob DescriptionThe role will include the following duties:Preparing and potentially reviewing UK corporation tax computationsMonitoring reporting and payment deadlinesWorking closely with audit and accounts team to advise on tax accounting entries and disclosuresTraining and mentoring junior colleagues within the Business Tax TeamProviding corporation tax compliance proposals and quotes to prospective clientsSubject to experience, coordinating and reviewing other business tax related returns (e.g. ATED, ERS, EMI, P11Ds etc)Monitoring and managing financial performance in line with KPIsManaging any related correspondence with clients and HMRCIdentifying opportunities for tax planning, risk mitigation and cross-selling between service lines to ensure clients receive a proactive and effective serviceAssisting with any other ad hoc projects and duties as may reasonably be requiredEnsuring the Firm's technical, ethical, risk and compliance procedures are adhered to in all casesThe Successful ApplicantA successful Corporate Tax Senior should have:A relevant accountancy/tax qualification: ACA/ACCA/CTA etc.Corporate tax technical and practical knowledgeGood knowledge of tax issues affecting OMB's and their shareholdersKnowledge of other business taxes and tax reporting processes is preferable but not essentialKnowledge of UK accounting standards and competent in interpreting accounts and other financial informationStrong IT skills including MS Office and databases, Alphatax ideal but not essentialStrong communication and organisation skillsWhat's on OfferThis role is offering a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
