We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Teaching Hospitals to help them recruit a Specialty Doctor Urologist on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Urology Department.This is a core Urology post which offers a mixture of training and service delivery made up of ward rounds, clinics and theatre sessions. Responsibilities include attending outpatient clinics, inpatient and day case theatre sessions, ward rounds as well as participating in clinics such as general urology, rapid access cancer clinics, haematuria clinics, PSA clinics, TP biopsy clinics, flexible cystoscopy surveillance clinics, ultrasound, urodynamics and andrologyThis Urology Department has embraced innovation, being the proud owners of a Da Vinci Robot, and performing extensive laparoscopic surgery. There is a large stone work-load with an on-site lithotripter. There is also a Cancer Centre, which includes rapid access diagnostic services.
