You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, precision, and proactive problem-solving.Your new roleInitially available on a 9 month basis with scope to be extended or made permanent, as a Supply Chain Planner, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials across the production lifecycle. You’ll manage material availability, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with suppliers to meet production schedules. Key responsibilities include:Creating and maintaining accurate material plans aligned with customer demand and production forecastsManaging supplier schedules and resolving delivery issues to avoid production delaysMonitoring inventory levels and implementing strategies to optimise stock holdingCollaborating with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, and logisticsSupporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to supply chain efficiencyWhat you’ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you’ll bring: a background in engineering or technical manufacturing would be advantageous, but not essential. Proven experience in supply chain or material planning within a manufacturing setting. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MRP/ERP systemsExcellentmunication and stakeholder management abilitiesA proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvementAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectivelyThis is a hands-on role that requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWhat you’ll get in returnA supportive and inclusive working environment and the chance to make a real impact in a business that values your expertise.
