SEND Teaching Assistant – Enfield (EN2) SEND Teaching Assistant – Enfield (EN2) Start Date: January 2026 Full-time | Ongoing Temporary Role via Milk Education Milk Education are looking for a compassionate and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join the dedicated inclusion team at a well-respected secondary school in Enfield (EN2). The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school with a strong sense of community, a supportive leadership team, and a clear commitment to inclusive education. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of SEND needs. Assist in the delivery of differentiated learning activities to help pupils access the curriculum. Work closely with teaching staff and the SENDCo to implement individual learning plans (EHCPs). Support students’ emotional and social development, encouraging independence and confidence. Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with young people in a secondary school setting. Knowledge or experience of supporting pupils with SEND (e.g. autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or SEMH needs). A patient, empathetic, and encouraging approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A genuine passion for supporting inclusive education. Relevant qualifications or training in SEND (desirable but not essential).
