Solution Recruitment are currently assisting a very busy M&E Contractor, based in London.They are seeking a M&E Planner to join our team. The role will involve reporting to the Project Director, developing time plans on projects to ensure that the project is completed safely, on time and within budget.This role will not be restricted to working on a singular project and may work across multiple projects.THE ROLE:Review tender information and produce programme and labour histograms.Prepare and monitor programme in line with procurement and delivery agreements.Plan and monitor project logisticsLiaising with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise and revise programme to mitigate delays.Liaise with main contractor and client to discuss programme.Attending client meetings, site meetings and subcontractor meetings where required.Present information for internal and external meetings on the project.PERSON SPECIFICATION:Minimum of 5 years in similar positionProficient skill level required with construction schedulingRelevant Degree or Qualifications desirable but not essentialStrong communication skills including writing reports and presentingOrganisation, Time management and PlanningExcellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of Planning software – Microsoft Project & ASTAStrong Problem solvingBudget and financial managementLeadershipWork as part of a team and individuallyA Site Management background is beneficialUK applicants only please as this is an immediate start.
