ASD Teaching Assistant - Bath - Education and Training We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate ASD Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school community in Bath. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Social Communication difficulties. Experience as a care or support worker is also highly valued. Key Responsibilities: * Supporting students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social Communication difficulties in the classroom setting. * Assisting in the implementation of tailored educational programs for students with SEND. * Promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment to ensure every student is supported effectively. * Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to provide holistic support for students with ASD and other needs. Requirements: * Proven experience working with SEND children or young people, particularly those with ASD. * A background in care or support work is highly desirable, particularly in an educational or childcare setting. * A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with students with special educational needs. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a supportive education and training environment.
