HGV Class 1 Driver - Monday to Friday Nights Posted on November 17th, 2025 Barnsley £ - £ per hour Type of Job: Temporary We are currently recruiting for our client, a leading Food Distribution client based in Barnsley, committed to delivering high-quality confectionary goods to various locations across the UK. As part of our growth, we are looking for skilled and dedicated HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team working a Monday to Friday rota. Shifts: Nights - Monday to Friday. Occasional overtime available on weekends Start Times: Between 15:00 and 19:00 starts. Weekend overtime will also be available. PAYE Rates: Weeknight £ P/H Saturday £ P/H Sunday £ P/H Immediate starts available Your Time at Work Responsibilities: Perform Class 1 Depot Trunking work, delivering food products to different destinations throughout the UK. Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate deliveries and meet deadlines efficiently. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete necessary paperwork.
