Manufacturing Operative - Temp to Perm - £ per hour - 30 Hours per Week - Own Transport EssentialWe are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative on behalf of a well-established food production company located in the Essex countryside, between Maldon and Tolleshunt D'Arcy.This is a temporary-to-permanent position, beginning with an initial three-month period via an agency, with the opportunity to progress into a permanent role.Position Summary:Pay Rate: £ per hourHours: 6:30am - 12:30pm, five days per week (may include one weekend day)Contract: Temp to PermLocation: Rural Essex - own transport is essentialFlexibility: Shift patterns may change depending on operational needsOvertime: Paid at an enhanced rateKey Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Operative:Operate production machinery in a safe and efficient mannerCarry out visual quality checks on finished goodsComplete production and compliance documentation accuratelySet up, adjust and maintain machinery as requiredPerform manual handling tasks including lifting and moving materialsMaintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards across work areasOperate pallet and pump trucks when necessaryComply with all site health and safety procedures and guidelinesCandidate Requirements for the Manufacturing Operative:Previous experience in a manufacturing and production setting requiredPhysically fit and capable of performing manual and repetitive tasksCounterbalance forklift licence desirable but not essentialMust have own transport due to rural locationReliable, punctual, and a strong team playerWillingness to work overtime when requiredFlexible and adaptable to changes in workload and shift patternFantastic Benefits Upon Completion of Temporary PeriodIf you're seeking a stable, long-term role within the food manufacturing sector, we encourage you to apply today.INDIJ
