Job Description LGV Driver - Mid and East Antrim Borough Council - Ballymena Are you an experienced LGV Driver and interested in a move to the Public Sector? Apply now to express your interest in this role About the role:  £15.31 per hour Monday to Thursday (7.30 am to 3.30 pm) Friday (7.30am to 12.30pm) Ongoing for 3 months (possible extension) Public Sector  Overtime, double time and triple time rates available from outset Please note, closing date for applications is Tuesday 9th December  Duties: Provide general driving support to Operational Services to ensure that all refuse is removed from household, industrial and commercial premises such as houses, shops, schools, business premises for appropriate disposal  Responsible for any vehicle, equipment, passengers etc. allocated for the purpose of waste collection, cleansing, recycling or other appropriate services.  Criteria: Valid Category C Driving Licence Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card A minimum of one years’ continuous LGV driving experience Please Note - Any penalty points active on the driving license must be declared along with the relevant code, these will then be assessed for relevance to the duties of the post If this sounds like the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you Even if you don’t meet every listed requirement, we encourage you to apply – we may have other suitable roles for you.
