Senior arable leadership role | East of England Excellent salary package + housing allowanceAn exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Farm & Estate Manager to take responsibility for a substantial, progressive arable farming and estate operation in the East of England, working closely with professional managing agents and a resident family.This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role for someone who combines first-class crop production skills with strong commercial, people, and organisational capability.The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering profitable, high-quality arable production while maintaining and enhancing the wider estate, its environment, and its reputation. Working within agreed farm plans and budgets, you will lead the farming operation day-to-day while contributing to longer-term business planning, investment decisions, and income diversification.Key responsibilities include:Full responsibility for crop husbandry, production standards, and cost controlDelivery of annual budgets, harvest plans, and contribution to longer-term (10-year) business planningLeadership and motivation of the farm team, including recruitment, training, and staff welfareOversight of machinery, buildings, contractors, and capital projectsAccurate record-keeping, compliance, and reporting in line with regulatory and assurance requirementsManagement of grain drying, storage, quality, and load-outClose liaison with professional managing agents on performance, opportunities, and riskActive stewardship of the environment, conservation areas, and public-facing estate elementsThe Ideal CandidateYou will be:An experienced Farm Manager or Estate Manager with a strong arable backgroundCommercially minded, organised, and comfortable working to budgets and plansA confident people manager who sets high standards and leads by exampleTechnically competent, forward-looking, and open to innovationComfortable operating in a professional, reporting-led environmentPassionate about farming standards, environmental delivery, and estate presentationThe PackageExcellent salary package, commensurate with experienceHousing allowance includedLong-term, senior position with real autonomy and influenceStrong professional support from managing agentsThis is a rare opportunity for an ambitious Farm or Estate Manager to step into a high-calibre role with real autonomy.
