Role:  Frailty Pharmacist Banding: Band 8a Location: Whitehaven Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract/Locum Position (Maternity Leave Cover) Duration: 12 Months Working Pattern:  Monday – Friday, 08:45AM – 17:00PM Rate:  Day: £34 – £39 per hour About the role: The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 8a Frailty Pharmacist to join our team in Whitehaven for a 12-month maternity leave cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing specialized pharmaceutical care to frail patients. Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care to frail patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Conduct medication reviews and provide expert advice on medication management. Support the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols. Participate in clinical audits and contribute to service improvement initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: GPhC registered. ACT Accredited. Experience in a supervisory role within a pharmacy setting. Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems. Desirable: Strong communication and organizational skills.
