Organisation Mill Hill School Salary £35p/h Location Mill Hill School, The Ridgeway, Mill Hill Village, London, NW7 1QS Contract type Fixed Term (Part time) Closing date 8 December 2025 Interview date 10 December 2025 Job Description • Support the aims and objectives of the Mill Hill Education Group• Comply with the Mill Hill Education Group Health and Safety Policy• Plan, prepare and deliver a series of football sessions within timetabled Games lessons and through the extra-curricular programme for boys and girls aged 13–18• Be an outstanding ambassador for sport and football by promoting Mill Hill values through the two strands of the Games programme, ‘Fit for Life’ and ‘Fit for Performance’• Run, or assist in running (depending on experience), one of the school’s football teams• Lead training sessions and fixtures (including officiating where required) as part of the pupils’ mid-week and weekend programmes• Assist the Head of Football in delivering an effective pre-season training programme for the Spring term• Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments within football and incorporate this thinking into the strategy for football at Mill Hill School• Work with the Head of Football to provide a coach education programme for Mill Hill football coaches• Support the Head of Football in providing video analysis for our football teams• Promote Mill Hill Football across London and the surrounding area• Work alongside the Head of Football to raise the profile of the sport within and beyond the school, while helping to increase the number of talented footballers applying for sport scholarships at 11+, 13+ and 16+• Report and, where possible, take appropriate action regarding any incidents, fire, loss, theft, damage, unfit food or other irregularities• Oversee team selection and monitor player progression, maintaining accurate records and reporting on pupils as required• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact• Maintain good order and discipline among pupils, safeguarding their health and safety on school premises and during authorised activities off-site• Assist the Head of Football in maintaining and organising all football equipment• Participate in administrative and organisational tasks related to the duties outlined above• Attend and contribute to meetings arranged in relation to the responsibilities listed• Carry out these duties, and any additional responsibilities reasonably directed by the Head of Mill Hill School
