This site plays a key role in global production and is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to support its operations on a rolling 12-month fixed-term contract. Your new role As Maintenance Manager, you’ll report to the Maintenance & Reliability Director and lead a team of approximately 10 direct reports. You’ll be responsible for:Overseeing the maintenance strategy for all process equipmentLeading troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical improvement initiativesManaging internal and external service providersDriving continuous improvement and reliability-centred maintenance practicesEnsuringpliance with GMP, EHS, and quality standardsSupporting CapEx projects and shutdown planningProviding out-of-hours support when requiredThis is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, regulated environment, requiring close collaboration with production, engineering, procurement, and external vendors.What you'll need to succeed Time-served engineering qualification (Mechanical/Electrical/Refrigeration) with advanced apprenticeship or relevant degreeProven experience in maintenance leadership within GMP-regulated environmentsStrong technical knowledge of manufacturing and utility systemsExcellent people management,munication, and organisational skillsExperience with SAP and operational excellence tools (Green Belt level desirable)Ability to lead change, solveplex equipment issues, and drive performanceWhat you'll get in return A key leadership role in a globally recognised pharmaceutical manufacturing siteOpportunity to shape maintenance strategy and drive innovationCollaborative and inclusive working cultureRolling 12-month FTC with potential for extensionRates are set with the client and can be discussed during a call.
