A lovely family of three, who are primarily located between London (Bayswater) and Milan with frequent travel to the Bahamas during the winter and the Balearic Islands in the summer, are seeking a Live-in Nanny who is able to adapt as the role evolves and become part of the family (with the view of more children in the future). The family currently have 1 child – baby girl will be 6 months old at the start of the position. A live-out candidate would be considered if they are London based. Duties include: Mixture of shared and sole charge – including overnight Ensuring the child’s safety and wellbeing Work alongside the mother to help support the development of the baby and establish a flexible routine that suits the family’s lifestyle Daily tasks such as: tidying up after the baby, quick visits to the shop, preparing simple food for the baby etc Travelling with the family as/when required Mum is very hands on with the baby and but needs support during the day to attend various appointments / social engagements, and occasionally travels with Dad so would need additional support during those instances. Both Mum and Dad enjoy spending a lot of time together with the baby as a family, but they also lead busy social lives and are generally out most evenings (particularly when visiting home in London and when on holiday as they often have family and friends join them). Candidate requirements: Nurturing, attentive, reliable, and responsible Understand / respect privacy and discretion Flexible and happy with last minute plans (enthusiasm for travel would also help) Experience with infant childcare (from new-born to toddler etc) and trained in CPR is preferable English speaking preferable (additional languages would be a bonus) Driving licence (not required but preferred) Working Days/Hours: This would vary week by week - flexibility is very important and not one week would mirror the next. Working weekends will be part of the job, but of course wouldn't be every weekend. The client would work with the Nanny to ensure a schedule that suits both sides and that proper time off per week is given, but flexibility and not being reliant on a strict weekly schedule is a must. Starting: May/June 2023 Salary: circa £65,000 gross per annum. Accommodation (if live-in): The Nanny would live in the same house as the family, sharing a bedroom with the baby (for now), and have their own bathroom. Annual performance-based bonus and generous holiday allowance.
