Housing Options Assistant

We are proud to be partnering with a Council in Sussex who are looking to appoint a Housing Options Assistant on a 3-month contract.This will be a full-time position with a negotiable rate depending on previous experience.This position offers 2 days working from home.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Liaising with suppliers and internal teamsMaintaining accurate transaction record while overseeing databases and filing systemAssisting with placement coordination and related paperwork, ensuring Housing Benefit claims are submitted accurately and remain continuously in paymentProviding flexible cover and share responsibilities with colleagues, fostering a supportive and positive team culture Experience required: Experience in an admin roleExperience working within housing Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Compliance and due diligenceThe ability to perform under pressure Working hours: 37 hours per weekMonday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.Don’t forget our recommendation scheme: Recommend a friend or colleague to us and receive up to £100 each once they have completed 20 days in a role via James Andrews Terms and conditions apply, contact us for details.
