Job description SEMH TeacherProspero Teaching are looking for a Secondary Teacher to join an Alternative Provision in Salisbury, working within a supportive and experienced team in a setting where children are respected, listened to, and encouraged to play an active role in their learning. The school welcomes applications from teachers with a passion for working with children who are Emotionally Vulnerable. A specific subject specialism is not essential – what matters most is your ability to inspire, adapt, and create engaging learning experiences. As a Teacher at the school, no two days will be the same. You’ll work within a flexible structure, supporting children and young people through bespoke, therapeutic educational frameworks that are carefully tailored to meet individual needs. Contract Details Location – Salisbury, Wiltshire Position – SEN Teacher Type of work – Key Stage 3 and 4 Contract or position start date – ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) – Ongoing Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temp to Perm Full time/part time – Full time Minimum rate of pay – £32,916 Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm, plus parents evenings Experience, Training and Qualifications QTS or equivalent Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year Eligibility Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references Other Prospero Teaching is able to offer the successful candidate: Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management In-house Training and Development Team
