Job Title: Social Worker – Adults Care and Support TeamLocation: CornwallRate: £32 per hourAn exciting job role has recently become available in Cornwall. They are looking for a new member for their Adults and Support Team. What will your responsibilities be?In this role, you will maintain knowledge regarding social policy and social work practice, working within the appropriate legislative context. You will actively promote self-learning to ensure professional development and provide high-quality practice in line with the Professional Capability Framework (PCF). You will work with other team members and multi-disciplinary team members from other agencies to meet the needs of vulnerable adults. Additionally, you will ensure the views and wishes of individuals and carers are given appropriate consideration and are central to all decision-making. You will act to protect adults in need of support services in line with legal requirements and CFA procedures. Benefits of the role: Hybrid working available. Diverse caseload Supportive team Qualifications and Experiences:To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience. You must have experience working with unpaid carers and have expert knowledge and experience of relevant legislation, policy and principles, including Social Care and Human Rights legislation and Person Centred Practice.
