An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join a fashion retailer as a Merchandiser based near Portsmouth. This is initially a 12 month FTC. This brand is renowned for their wide selection of high-street fashion RTW and accessories.The role:Achieving department KPI’s in line with strategy and department targetsReviewing the category Weekly Sales and Stock Intake (WSSI), coordinating action to maximise profitability of the department and reduce risksContributing to range development and preparation and presentation of range sign offsLiaising with buyer to monitor product groups, determining pricing strategy and price pointEnsuring in-season activity delivers planned sales, margin and terminal stock targetsAnalysing competitors and trends to maximise profitWho you are:A Merchandising with fashion experienceAn experienced JM looking to step into a Merchandiser roleGood presentation skillsHave high organisational skills and be able to multitask and prioritiseStrong numerical, analytical, and interpretive skillsFashion customer knowledgeStrong negotiation and influencing skillsCan maintain good relationships with Branch Merchandising, Design, Buying, Quality Assurance and SuppliersA collaborative team playerThe perfect candidate will benefit from:A competitive annual salary equivalent of up to £42,000 and excellent benefitsOpportunity to work in a friendly fast paced creative environment.Working as part of a renowned fashion retailerFlexible working with 3 hybrid working.Our client is looking to interview asap so apply online today if you would like to be part of this outstanding business.
