Advert Inclusion Practitioner We wish to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and experienced Inclusion Practitioner (EYFS) to join our wonderful team. We are looking for someone who has adaptability, experience in learning support and above all, someone who shares our ethos of putting the children at the centre of all we do. The successful candidate will: have a good understanding of children's needs, both pastoral and educational have excellent levels of literacy and numeracy have excellent communication skills have a strong empathy with children’s diverse needs have good initiative and be flexible have experience of supporting children in a learning environment be able to liaise with the class teacher, providing feedback and keeping records of progress and behaviour as required support the social, emotional, behavioural and medical needs of pupils as necessary work as part of the team with a sense of humour and a sense of fun The responsibilities will include: Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and effective learning activities. Assist in the preparation of learning environments, ensuring resources are available and accessible. Work with small groups or individual pupils to provide targeted support. Monitor and record pupils’ progress and provide feedback to the teacher. Help manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment. Support the welfare and personal care needs of children, including those with special educational needs. Encourage children’s development in line with the EYFS framework.
